Cancel Call Waiting turns off Call Waiting on a per call basis.

This prevents Call Waiting tones from interrupting your conversations, Internet, computer modem, or facsimile transmissions.

Using Cancel Call Waiting before a call:

Press 7 0 # (On a rotary phone, dial 70)

Enter the number you wish to call.

Using Cancel Call Waiting during a call (requires Three-Way Calling):

Depress the “disconnect button” ¹ for one second to place the call on hold.

Listen for dial tone, press  7 0 # (On a rotary phone, dial 70)

Listen for special beep tone then depress the “disconnect button”  for one second and return to your call.

 ¹ The ”disconnect button”  is the button the handset pushes down when you hang up the phone.   Some telephones have a Link or Flash key you can press instead.
