Pembroke Telephone Cooperative District Boundaries

District # 1                      

Beginning at the intersection of Rt. 613 (Doe Creek Road) and Hwy. 460, with Hwy. 460 East to the 626 exchange boundary near Newport Repair, following the exchange boundary North-Easterly to the top of John’s Creek Mountain, following the top of the mountain to the Giles-Craig County lines, following the county lines to the top of Potts’ Mountain, then following the Giles-Monroe County lines to Rt. 635, near White Rocks recreation park then with Rt. 635 Westward to the intersection of Rt. 613, following Rt. 613 to the beginning.

Includes: part of Hoges Chapel, part of Maybrook & Mountain Lake.

 

District # 2

Begins at the Ripplemead Bridges, follows Hwy. 460 Eastward to Rt. 635, follows Rt. 635 North to Rt. 626, with it to the intersection of Rt. 623 (Little Stony Creek Rd.), then with Rt. 623 to the end, thence with Little Stony Creek to the point where Rt. 613 crosses over-thence with Rt. 613 to the intersection of Rt. 635 near White Rocks then with Rt. 635 to the Giles-Monroe County lines, following the county line North, then Southwest to the exchange boundary with Verizon near Clendenin, thence with New River to the Ripplemead Bridges.

Includes: Kimbalton, Ripplemead (Pembroke Side), Goldbond, Interior, & Kire.

 

District # 3                          

Begins at the Intersection of Rt. 771 & Rt. 617 (River Road) at Hoges Chapel, follows Rt. 617 to the New River, then with the New River through Eggleston to the exchange boundary at the end of Spruce Run Mountain, with it’s ridge then to Hwy. 460 near Newport Auto Repair, then with Hwy. 460 West to Hoges Chapel to the western intersection of Rt. 771, with it to the beginning.

Includes: part of Hoges Chapel, part of Eggleston, & Maybrook.

 

District # 4                             

Begins at the Ripplemead Bridges, with Hwy. 460 East to the Intersection of Hwy. 460 and the western intersection of Rt. 771 at Hoges Chapel-following Rt. 771 a short distance to the intersection of Rt. 771 & Rt. 617 (River Road) to New River, then with the New River to Eggleston to the exchange boundary with Verizon.  Then follows boundary through Eggleston, toward Commissary Hill to the beginning.

Includes: Part of Eggleston, Commissary Hill, Southern Pembroke, & Part of Hoges Chapel.

 

District # 5                                

Begins at the intersection of Rt. 635 and Hwy. 460, with Rt. 635 North to intersection of Rt. 626, with Rt. 626 to intersection of Rt. 623 (Little Stony Creek Rd.), then with Rt. 623 Northeast to its end then with Little Stony Creek to a point where Rt. 613 crosses the creek, then with Rt. 613 to Hoges Chapel then with Hwy. 460 West to the beginning.

Includes: North Pembroke & Part of Hoges Chapel.

 

District # 6                                 

             All of 544 Exchange located in Giles County.

 

District # 7                                  

             All of 544 Exchange located in Craig County.
