In order to obtain services through Pembroke Telephone Cooperative (dba PemTel) you must become a member.

- Visit our office to complete a Membership Application and pay any up-front costs associated with establishing service.
- Provide a valid photo ID.
- Pay your $25.00 Membership Fee. (This is a one-time fee)
- Get scheduled for installation
As of August 1, 2021, telephone service is no longer required to retain membership. Membership is valid with any active PemTel service.

- The average subscriber will see a reduction of approximately $23.00 per month.
- Internet ONLY service is billed at $10.00 per month higher than when subscribed to along with telephone service.
Due to processing time, requests must be received in our office on or before the 15th of the month to be effective on the following bill. If your request is received after the 15th of the month, it will take an additional bill cycle for it to become effective.
